HistoTechnologist - FT
The HistoTechologist will be responsible for:
- Performing routine and special lab procedures authorized by the department supervisor.
- Assisting Pathologists on special procedures
- Performing staining procedures
- Maintaining equipment and ahereing to the preventative maintenance procedures.
- Adhering to the QC procedures established in the Department.
Qualifications
- 2 or more years of experience in a laboratory working as a Histo Technician or Histotechnologist.
- Computer Skills: Laboratory information systems, MS Word, Excel
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Rigid accuracy in identification of specimens and recording names and numbers
- Absolute integrity in the accurate performance of duties
Requirements
- Certified HT or HT(ASCP)
- High School Diploma with certificate from NAACLS accredited Program
