Dr. Mattison received his M.D. from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, TX. He brings 20+ years of Anatomic Pathology and Cytopathology experience to the Avero Team. Dr. Mattison has served as Medical Director and Director of Laboratories for many outpatient and hospital based pathology laboratories throughout West Texas during his career.
His education also includes an Internship and Residency at Duke University, Durham, NC and Bachelor Degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a founding partner and Medical Director of Avero Diagnostics, Lubbock, TX.
