Avero Diagnostics is a national, physician-operated laboratory specializing in women’s health, anatomic and clinical pathology, molecular pathology and clinical diagnostics. Our business is patient-centered, family-owned, and delivers the best possible service for the benefit of the patient.
Billing
We care about affordable healthcare. Avero Diagnostics is an in-network provider with most insurance companies and Medicare. We also offer flexible payment options and need-based financial assistance to help improve access to care through the AveroCaresTM program.
Here’s how the billing process works:

Insurance Claim
After testing is complete, we will file a claim with the patient’s health plan. Once this claim is processed, the health plan will send the patient an Explanation of Benefits (EOB).

Invoice
In most cases, there is no additional patient responsibility. If there is, the patient may receive a bill from Mattison Pathology, dba Avero Diagnostics.

Our COmmitment
After the patient receives a bill, we will call to evaluate their personal financial situation, answer any questions, and discuss payment options.
