Patients

Avero Diagnostics is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of patients
and the physicians who treat them. We take a patient-centered approach to laboratory medicine. We identify each specimen as a patient. And we play a major role in the continuity of patient care.

What this means for you:

  • No unnecessary or inappropriate testing
  • Proper specimen collection, handling, and testing
  • More accurate and timely results
  • Better-informed conversations with your healthcare provider

Billing

We care about affordable healthcare. We do everything to bill your primary and secondary insurances first, so you can get the most out of your health coverage. If you are responsible for paying a portion of your test costs, such as a deductible, we offer the AveroCaresTM program, which includes needs-based financial assistance and flexible payment options.

Here’s how the billing process works:

1

Insurance Claim

After your testing is complete, we will file a claim with your health plan, and they will send you an Explanation of Benefits (EOB). The EOB is not a bill.

2

Invoice

In most cases there is no additional patient responsibility. If there is, you may receive a bill from Mattison Pathology, dba Avero Diagnostics.

3

Our Commitment

After you receive a bill, we will call you to evaluate your personal financial situation, answer any questions you may have, and discuss payment options.

We're here for you.

If you have questions, contact us today.

Conveniently pay your bill online.
