Billing
Here’s how the billing process works:

INSURANCE CLAIM
After your testing is complete, we will file a claim with your health plan, and they will send you an Explanation of Benefits (EOB). The EOB is not a bill**.

INVOICE
In most cases there is no additional patient responsibility. If there is, you may receive a bill from Avero Diagnostics or Northwest laboratory.

Avero Diagnostics does not waive or cap patient co-pays, deductibles, coinsurance, or cost share amounts. Patients must meet eligibility requirements to qualify for financial assistance.
**If you do not have insurance coverage, we’ll bill you directly for services provided. You may be eligible for a discount if you choose to pay your account in full within 10 days of the date you’re billed. Please call the billing department for more information on self-pay.
